ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Clair, the founder of Homes That Talk.

Welcome to my little workshop.

I came from a design background, working as a Graphic Designer at the beginning of my career until a rapidly growing little family became my priority. I put a hold on my career and I've spent my time being a Mum, working part-time and renovating a couple of houses along the way.

​

In 2014 my husband, myself and our 4 children moved to our dream home. A large house overlooking the sea. I am blessed to have a view of the beach from my studio. Still, it needed a complete overhaul! Since then we have worked tirelessly, renovating, building and decorating. We renovated the stable block at the back of the house into a successful holiday cottage.

I am finally able to devote my time to what I love, creating beautiful things.

I started off making signs for the house and realised how much I loved doing it, so I took the leap, invested and worked hard to begin my business. After years of hard, dedicated work, steady growth and successfully selling in a number of gift shops,

I am now able to share my creations with everyone.

All of my signs are completely handmade, sanded and painted by myself, no two will be exactly the same. If you have any special requests for wording, colours or sizes simply message me and I will see what I can do.
